Privacy at 28 Foot Systems
Last updated 10/05/2026. This policy covers shop.28footsystems.com.
What this page collects
- Your name, your email address and, if you choose to give it, your phone number when you buy something, so the receipt and anything you have paid for can reach you and the business knows who ordered and how to reach you about it.
- Anything you choose to write in the note at checkout, which is kept with your order so the business can make or deliver what you bought.
- Your name, your email address and whatever you write when you send a message.
Every site also records ordinary technical information as you browse: the pages you open and what kind of browser you are using. At checkout your network address is turned into a one-way fingerprint, to stop the same card being tried over and over. The address itself is not kept, and we do not work out where you are.
Why
- To take an order, send you a receipt, and give you what you paid for.
- To answer you.
None of it is sold.
Who else sees it
- Stripe takes the payment. You are sent to Stripe's own checkout page to pay, so your card details are given to Stripe and never to this website or to sitelaunch. Stripe tells us that a payment succeeded, what was bought and the email you used.
- sitelaunch runs this website and sends its email, and its hosting, database and email providers store the information above on its behalf.
How long it is kept
- Orders and receipts, for as long as the business needs them for its accounts and tax records.
- Messages and questions, so the business can answer them and write better answers.
Anything else is kept only while it is useful for the reasons above.
Asking about your information
You can ask what is held about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted.
You can reach 28 Foot Systems by email at 28footmarketing@gmail.com.
A request to delete cannot always remove a record the business is required to keep for its accounts, and Stripe holds its own record of a payment under its own policy.
Cookies and similar
This site itself uses only what it needs to work, such as remembering an item you are part-way through buying.
